Sesquiterpenes 68.9%, Sesquiterpenols 20.05%
Main components: α-cedrene 31.2%, thujopsene 18.9%, cedrol 15.2%

Shelf life: suggested 8 years

Aroma: Middle-base note. Balsamic, resinous, woodsy, sweet, slight citrus, fresh.  Softer than Cedarwood Atlas and can be sometimes reminiscent of Sandalwood.  

Therapeutic properties:

**Analgesic: blends well with other oils to help reduce pain
**Anti-inflammatory: along with pain reduction, can possibly help reduce inflammation.  Has shown to be significant in wound healing activity
**Anti-bacterial:  presence of cedrol has shown active against bacteria
**Astringent: contracts and tightens the skin--useful to protect body from bacteria. Tightens/firms the skin.
**Diuretic: promotes the elimination of excess in the body, used to alleviate kidney and bladder infections
**Expectorant: beneficial in respiratory blends to help promote clear breathing, clear cough and passageways
**Decongestant: often used to alleviate respiratory congestion
**Mucolytic: add to respiratory blends to help clear the breathing passages of mucous and control cough
**Tonic: can tighten and tone skin but also acts as a sedative for the nervous system while stimulating the respiratory to help heal infections
**Insecticide: has ability to repel insects
**Emotional: stable and grounding, can increase self esteem and confidence, support for challenging or difficult times

Suggestions: Add to cream, massage blends, diffuser, sprays, aromatherapy inhalers, balms, lip balms, bath products

Safety: Non-toxic. No specific safety issues with this oil.
