Itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, headache, watery eyes....a few of the symptoms of allergies.  Miserable.  That is what it makes us.

Try an aromatherapy nasal inhaler---just breathe in and experience relief, almost instantly.  Inhalers are the perfect tool for allergies  as the oils are quickly absorbed through the olfactory membrane.

The benefit of nasal inhalers is that they are easy to use, private (no one else smells the oil) and portable--you can easily carry them in your pocket!  Not only are they fast acting and effective but you also get the peace of mind of controlling your allergies without taking synthetic drugs.

Essential oils are a powerhouse when it comes to respiratory conditions and the oils in this blend come together perfectly:

***Eucalyptus dives: I chose this oil as it supports the breath and too me, is fresh and clearing---should help penetrate the nasal area.  And if a runny nose and tickle cough is present, the decongestant properties of this oil should help.

***Bay Laurel (Laurus nobilis): another fresh oil. I chose this oil for the oxides to support the respiratory passages. 1,8-cineole makes up a good part of this oil and should help with congestion and inflamed tissues. Also, I think this, along with Dives, will help clear the head so one can think more clearly. I know when I am a runny nose, coughing, leaky eye mess that the last thing that occurs for me is to think clearly as my attention is on my nose---which can feel 8 times bigger than it is.

***Balsam Fir (Abies balsamea): I chose this oil because it supports healthy nasal function--helping to keep things in balance.  Very high in monoterpenes and will support the inflamed nasal passages.  Fir oils are very supporting for the respiratory and the brightness of this oil will help clear the head while promoting/supporting a more balanced environment.

***Helichrysum gymnocephalum:  high in oxides and is beneficial for any corresponding pain with the nasal area.   Eye strain, painful nasal passages and coughing could give the best of head/sinus pressure.  This oil will help address these symptoms if present.

***Scotch Pine (Pinus sylvestris): I know I am loading up here on the monoterpenes but this oil is great for congestion and inflamed passageways. Plus, it has a very clearing aroma which will help with any fogginess. Besides, it smells wonderful and blends nicely with the others.
